We got a Yorkie puppy not too long ago that has all the makings of a silky - longer nose, finer hair, etc.

We love her dearly, but my wife insists that she is not really a full Yorkie. My take is if the papers say she is full bred Yorkie, then she is full bred Yorkie...

...and the AKC registration papers say she is full bred Yorkie, but some people don't really believe those are always accurate, so I'm not sure...

What do you think?

If you have registered papers , I would say she is full blooded yorkie. Is it because she doesnt look like what she thinks she should. There is lots of differnet colors and sizes of them . If you love her then I wouldnt worry about the papers. I love my yorkie and Ive had ones without papers and they are just a good and cute as the ones with registered one.
